The Cleanse

 Before we can make any real progress, we need to first partake in a serious cleanse. In order to cleanse our temples, we must practice the keys to happiness- Awareness, Acceptance, and Choosing Happiness. These principles can to be applied to every area of your life. The areas of importance when embarking on a spiritual cleanse are:

  • What we put on our temples
  • What we put in our temples
  • Releasing Toxins from our temples

Being cautious of what we put on our temples is extremely important. The largest organ in in the body is our skin. Any and every chemical we put on our skin is absorbed into the largest organ we have. This includes the soaps, lotions, body washes, shampoos, body oils, and every other substance that comes in contact with our skin.

Being cautious of what we put in our bodies is equally important. Starting with products as simple as our toothpaste and mouthwash. Both of which we should be buying organic or making ourselves. This may sound like a lot but let’s go ahead and apply the principles for a strong foundation. Step 1- Awareness. Research, Research, Research. I cannot stress that enough. I can tell you what I am passionate about all day and why I do the things I do. You must find your own passions and reasons why you make changes. I cannot fill you with purpose, but I can lead you to the moon. Step 2- Once you have done your research, you cannot help but look at things different. Knowledge is literally power! You, yourself will not want to brush your teeth with toothpaste after you understand what it is doing to your temple, soul, and spiritual growth. Step 3- Choose happiness! Choose yourself, your growth, and your future.

Food is Medicine and should be treated as such. Not only do we need to stop eating meat. We must rid our temples of decay and disease. Which is going to require utilizing the principles of happiness! Research is key, when you know better- you do better! Once you are aware of what you are doing to yourself, you can accept where you are and acknowledge where you want to be. Let the changes begin.

Lastly, we must release the current toxins we’ve spent our whole lives building up. We do this through exercise! Exercise is a key component in your success during The Cleanse. We have years and decade’s worth of toxins built up in our temples which is why we must commit whole heartedly if we expect to see true progress.
